This very active U3A group, providing educational, recreational and social opportunities for retired or semi-retired people in the area around Skipton, North Yorkshire, has in excess of 700  members.  

We offer more than 45 classes, covering subjects  from Angling to Woodturning, with most classes running from October to April. Click on 'Class Summary' to see the list of classes  for 2008/9 or Class Timetable for venues and class times.

NOTICES

Open Day - Tuesday, August 11th from 2-4pm at Skipton Town Hall. Anyone interested in joining Craven U3A is welcome to come and meet the tutors. 

Postal Enrolment - Enrolment forms for present members will arrive with the latest Newsletter, posted to arrive on Wednesday, 12th August. Enrolment forms for new members will be placed in Skipton library on the same day. Anyone on holiday at that time can arrange for someone else to enrol for them. Members wishing to get a place on popular, but restricted, courses such as computing are reminded of the need to enrol immediately. 

Coffee Mornings  An opportunity to meet old and new friends on the first Saturday of each month from October to July, from 10.00am to 11.30am in the Soroptimist Rooms, Otley Street, Skipton.
