This very active U3A group, providing educational, recreational and social opportunities for retired or semi-retired people in the area around Skipton, North Yorkshire, has in excess of 700  members.  

We offer more than 40 classes, covering subjects  from Aerobics to Woodturning, with most classes running from October to April. Click on 'Class Summary' to see the list of classes  for 2009/10 or Class Timetable for venues and times.

NOTICES

Tutors Meeting - This will take place on Wednesday, 17th February, at 2pm, in the Soroptimist Rooms, Otley Street. 

Walking Group - For an up to date walk programme go to Class Summary & scroll down to WALKING. At the end of the group description click on PROGRAMME to print or save a copy.

Aireville Pool Car Park - Free car parking here is now limited to three hours. Tickets can be purchased at the pool reception. In the short term, the walking group has permission to park in the Cattle Market.  Drive into the Auction Mart site, then down past the roundabout to park on the left in the unpaved area. 

Newsletter Editor -  After two years Eric Finkle has handed over editorship to Andrew Wilson. Andrew's contact details are in the Xmas newsletter. The Spring Newsletter deadline is 28th February 2010. Thanks again to Eric for his many roles in the organisation.  

Coffee Mornings - An opportunity to meet old and new friends on the first Saturday of each month from October to July, from 10.00am to 11.30am in the Soroptimist Rooms, Otley Street, Skipton. (Lovely cakes !!)
